Nutty Pumpernickel Toast
INGREDIENTS
1 slice of pumpernickle bread (or bread of choice)
1/2 ripe banana
2 tbsp Hamov Eh Walnut + Date
cinnamon, for sprinkling
(Optional) 1 tbsp mini chocolate chips, toasted coconut, pepitas, or sesame seeds
DIRECTIONS
Toast the bread until darkened to your liking
While the bread is toasting, slice the banana however you’d like (little slices or lengthwise)
Spread the Walnut + Date over the toasted bread and sprinkle with cinnamon
Layer the sliced banana over the butter
Sprinkle on chocolate chips (or toasted coconut, pepitas, or sesame seeds)
